Originally, Bridgit was born in Washington D.C. When she was only eight years old, she moved with her parents to San Francisco.
In 2012, Bridgit Mendler announced to Vanity Fair that she was starting to study Liberal Arts at the University of Souther California. Since she started at the school, she has studied medical anthropology, jazz, medieval visual culture and history.
The first time that Bridgit ever worked with Disney was for the Wizards of the Waverly Place. After receiving critical acclaim for her role, Disney decided to select her as a star in Good Luck Charlie.
Since her mother has a doctorate in public policy, Bridgit Mendler has felt inspired to pursue the same type of educational path. In between acting, she wants to keep going to college until she has achieved her doctorate.
