90210

Created by Rob Thomas, Gave Sachs and Jeff Judah, 90210 is a remake of an older show. It ran from 2008 to 2013 on the CW channel. Basically, a family makes the move from Kansas to Beverly Hills. As they adjust to their new life, the viewer gets to watch their problems adapting and the difficulties that their children face in school. When it comes to teenage drama, 90210 is truly a classic.

Suits

Despite these drawbacks, it offers a number of benefits. The number one best thing about the show is the main character, Harvey Specter (played by Gabriel Macht). He really lights up the screen with his talent and his looks. Harvey is an intelligent, brilliant lawyer who ends up doing pro-bono work because he ended up on the wrong side of a drug deal. He ends up meeting up with Mike Ross (Patrick Adams) by accident. Ross manages to convince Harvey that he is a lawyer and gets hired on at the firm. Later on, Harvey finds out that Ross has never gone to law school and has to help Ross hide his secret.

The Originals

Produced by the CW, the Originals initially premiered in 2013. The show focuses on a family of vampires that live within New Orleans .Set in 1919, the show has an unbelievably rich, creative plot line. If you are the type of person who likes vampire flicks or Twilight, you have to make time to see the Originals.

The Fosters

Created by Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige, the Fosters was originally aired by ABC Family. This teen drama strives to show what a modern family looks like. Unlike the typical family show, it features a lesbian couple who have a mixture of biological and adopted children. Although it is popular among the young, the family aspect of the show made it a hit with older audiences as well. Since it does include a lesbian couple, there were some groups that decried the show, but it still ended up doing rather well.

Make It Or Break It

Make It Or Break It is one of those shows that played for a long time, but was relatively unheard of. It started in 2009 and ran until 2012. Created by Holly Sorensen, the show is about the quest to go to the Olympics. In the show, Cassandra Scerbo, Josie Loren and Ayla Kell are teenage girls who are also world-class gymnasts. Although their goal is to make it to the Olympics, their gold medal dreams become threatened when their coach is blackmailed. With an interesting cast of characters, Make It Or Break It is a great show to indulge in. It spanned a total of four seasons and 48 episodes, so it should give you more than one movie marathon weekend.

Glee

For a more unique teenage drama, you have to check out Glee. This musical show features a group of high school misfits who are drawn together by their singing talent. Loved by the critics and audiences alike, it is definitely worth watching.
