Scarlett Johansson: Pretty by Plastic Surgery?

Back in 2007, Scarlett Johansson publicly came out to the media to reassure everyone she hadn’t undergone celebrity plastic surgery. With her spokesperson stating on the record that the Scarlett Johansson plastic surgery rumors were “outrageous”, it would be easy to believe the passion with which they speak. However… when you take a look at photos of the young actress from now to “back then”, things do seem a little different…

This beautiful New York-born actress, singer and model was born in New York City on November 22nd, 1984. Now 28 years old, she has been known to play some of the most formidable roles in film history. In 1997 she was in Home Alone 3. Eight Legged Freaks saw her running away from massive spiders back in 2002. Lost in Translation pumped her into silver screen super-stardom in 2003, and the super-fabulous Girl with a Pearl Earring definitely got her recognised in the same year. Not only that but she has had the fortune of acting alongside one of the guys that made our Hottest Men in the World series – Robert Downey Jnr. in Iron Man 2 in 2010. She’s been a busy girl, that’s for sure.

She’s got some more stuff coming up soon which we are actually quite excited about. She has three films coming out next year (2014) including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Chef and Lucy. Keep your eyes peeled…

Scarlett Johansson is well known to be one the hottest sex symbols of our time and she has been on far too many “Most Beautiful Women” lists around the world too! In 2006, for example, Maxim saw her voted as No. 6 in their Hot 100 issue. Not only that but Playboy named her the “Sexiest Celebrity” in 2007!

She’s dated some of the most beautiful men in the world too which is perhaps where the pressure behind some of the celebrity plastic surgery rumors have stemmed from. She was married to Ryan Reynolds – yet another beautiful celeb that made his way onto our Hottest Men in the World series. They sadly parted ways back in 2010, with their divorce finalised in 2011, after only a couple of years of marriage. She’s now engaged to the owner of an independent advertising agency and have been together for around a year or so.

Going back to the Scarlett Johansson plastic surgery rumors, surgeons have come forward to suggest that she has had some sort of rhinoplasty (nose plastic surgery) but the surgery so slight, it’s barely noticeable. It’s only when you look much closer that you can tell the difference – the tip other nose definitely appears smaller and the whole nose appears more defined and slimmed down. Could it be that she had some shaved off? She said no but evidence and surgeons suggest otherwise.

Rhinoplasty seems to be quite popular in the Hollywood world and other celebrities and beautiful women that have been reported to have gone under the knife in the nasal area include Megan Fox, Kate Hudson and even Jennifer Lopez…

Of course, not just under scrutiny for her nose, the Scarlett Johansson plastic surgery reports go further. Breast implants have been suggested on a number of occasions and although it does appear as if her breasts have been pumped up slightly, there is nothing to say that weight loss and weight gain may have been the cause, and we all know how flattering a good bra can be for the body. The strangest thing is that Scarlett Johansson’s breasts seem to have gotten smaller recently which has lead to an influx of people assuming she has had her breast implants reduced. Again, this could be down to weight gain and the fact that they have gone up and down does seem to support this… Again, what do you think?

Scarlett Johansson is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful women in the world but is this really down to plastic surgery or just clever tricks of makeup and closet choices? There doesn’t seem to be a mountain of evidence supporting the idea that she has had her nose done or her boobs pumped up, but until she comes out and admits or denies it, we’ll never really know!
