From Pink Lips to Long, Straight Hair: 21 of the Best Celebrity Beauty Looks Lately

After catching up on this week's celeb beauty sightings, you'll probably want to a) grab a yellow-pink lipstick like Emilia Clarke, b) add some shimmer to your lids like Paris Berelc and Miranda Kerr, and c) part your hair straight down the middle, like, well, just about everyone here.

These were the best celebrity beauty looks lately:

Emilia Clarke

OMG! OMGOMGOMG. We'll probably be unanimous in loving this Emilia look, featuring candy-coloured pink lipstick, matching cheeks, full 'n' natural brows, and an effortless half-up hairdo. This is exactly what I'd aspire to on the red carpet—it's special without being too “done.” And gosh, Emilia should get a million extra points for having one of the most genuine smiles in Hollywood. She truly looks thrilled to be there!

This look is more au naturel, but equally stunning. With her hair down, you get to appreciate the new lob, which suits her SO well. Makeup is barely-there and shows off the great quality of her skin. Just lashes, a little champagne framing the lash lines, seamless nude blush, and glossy brownish-pink lips. I think Emilia just shot to the top of my beauty crush list.

Paris Berelc

A totally different vibe, and maybe borderline too grown-up for a 16-year-old, but I'm still liking many elements of what Paris is doing here. Most of all, her hair. With all the tousled textures and limp “Hollywood waves” we've seen over the last few years, it's rare to spot a super-straight, super-long look. So I love this! Note the centre part right down her widow's peak. Brows are natural, blush is well-blended and the lips are stained. Just not sure she needed quite so much on the eyes.

Alexa Chung

Rare Alexa sighting! Nothing out of the ordinary here, just the usual bedhead texture, lobbed length, Sombré colour and minimal makeup. (Apparently she doesn't even wash her face at night, and her skin looks like this. Damn!) I really like her brows, and the subtle pop of the sheer—but non-goopy—pink lip gloss.

Miranda Kerr

Speaking of great skin—and everything else—it's pretty clear that Miranda is 100 percent model material. Even in unforgiving outdoor light, she is utterly flawless. I really like how her eyes and lips are both emphasized, but dialled back a bit with lighter colours and textures (like the sheer red and warm light brown). So pretty, this one!

Lydia Hearst

Lydia's hair is glorious. Not just the colour, but its condition (which looks super-healthy), and the way it's been styled (defined but smooth and soft, not stiff). Where things fall down a bit is in the makeup. The false lashes are heavy and dragging down her lids, and the brows don't look properly blended. Oh, but it's great to see naturally thin lips left alone!

Gabrielle Union

I fangirled out the last time we saw Gabrielle, at the People's Choice Awards, and this look is much more dramatic. I think the V's at her inner corners are a really cool statement, but it doesn't need the red lipstick, and the brows could be softened up a tad. Picture the straight, centre-parted hair with just the liner and a clear glossy lip, and this would be perfect.

Lottie Moss

Another day, another photo of a 17-year-old with my dreamskin. (Geez, I'm gonna develop a complex soon.) Lottie is a British model and it doesn't matter what she did with her hair or her eyeshadow, because you can't take your eyes off her complexion. It is the very definition of luminous.

Suki Waterhouse

Meanwhile, Suki's look seems a little more attainable. It's modern '60s, of course, juxtaposed against very undone, air-dried, centre-parted hair. I really love her matte candy-pink lips, and she wears the cat eyes really, really well. Notice how the liner doesn't start until the lashes do, and goes quite thick before ending on a slimmer flick.

Nicki Minaj

Okay, I'm fairly sure these are the very definition of “Instagram brows,” which I loathe. But Nicki's still getting an inclusion here, because I think we've come along way with her beauty styling! (It's all relative.) She looks far chicer in the black hair with the strong centre part, and her makeup is pretty restrained. On anyone else, those lashes would be cray city, but she does know how to work 'em, I'll give her that.

Jessica Szohr

I've given Jessica a miss on this round-up in the last few weeks for one reason or another, but I think she got it right this time. Yay! With her hair back and off her face, you notice her pretty features and great brows. Sometimes her makeup seems too heavy on her oily skin, but here everything seems very nicely balanced. Really fresh and pretty!

Alicia Silverstone

For someone for doesn't do much red carpet anymore, Alicia nailed a low-key summer beauty look. Her blonde waves really flatter her, and the makeup is peachy and pretty.

Hilary Swank

Hilary's another one who rarely steps out these days, but I think her skin is looking really niceshe hasn't really aged. The clear gloss is great on her full lips, and her strong brows work well to define her eyes. While her hair texture looks so soft and touchable, I'm not crazy about this length on her (it seems lengthen her face).

Georgia May Jagger

More skindreams! Georgia, who I interviewed here if you haven't seen it, gets away with matte, tone-on-tone makeup that brings out her gorge green eyes. Hair is all bedhead/supermodel. Am I the only one relieved to see a few stray hairs around her mouth? Models are human after all!

Emmanuelle Chriqui

How is Emmanuelle's hair so shiny?! I need to know. Here, she's rocking her new lobbed length with a classic blowout, and her signature makeup. Just tightlined eyes, glowy skin and a pale mouth. Again, nice to see normal lips after the whole Bella Thorne analysis yesterday!

Dove Cameron

So much beautiful skin this week! Dove is yet another example of complexion perfection, worn with a nice juicy lip gloss. I really don't know what's happening with her lashes—are they falsies? But then why are they so chunky? And what's up with the random curl on one side of her hair?

Janelle Monáe

Janelle definitely works this look—pompadour hair, hot red lips, full brows, cat's eye liner—and that gleam on her cheek is making my life. But hmm, I think I'm ready for her to mix it up on the red carpet now. Could we get some orange instead of red? And a new, but equally elaborate hairstyle?

Debby Ryan

Last time we saw Debby, her hair had a purple rinse; now, it's faded out, leaving her with this greyish platinum blonde. With the beachy texture and centre part (which seems requisite in today's round-up), her half-back style looks modern. While I prefer her as a strawberry blonde, I love how this hair colour makes her eyes pop, and I'm glad she left her lips bare and skin fresh.

Christina Milian

Not sure what she was thinking on the outfit (eeks!), but Christina's hair gets a thumbs up from me. The length, deep side part and smooth texture are all great. I think her contouring and highlighting needs to be much more subtle, and the liner lightened up—although the purple shadow and matching lips were a nice idea.

Bridget Regan

Simple, clean, fresh—Bridget looks extremely office-appropriate, if not quite glam enough for a red carpet. Last time we saw her, she had red hair, but this brunette colour is far more flattering. I love the pop of colour on the lips and the baby cat eyes, but I'd like to see her brows emphasized with a tinted brow mascara instead of so much powder.

Fearne Cotton

Fearne is one of those celebs who always looks better in street style shots (of which there are many!) instead of red carpet. I think it's because a more casual makeup and hair suits her much better. But I still love her blonde lob, and this lip colour is fun. If only she'd dial it way back on all the eye stuff.
