From Shiny Hair to Fuchsia Lips: 11 of the Best Celebrity Beauty Looks Lately

There's lots to love in the latest batch of red carpet hair and makeup! Jessica Chastain almost makes me want to cut my hair into a lob, and I'll be copying all the pinky lip colours (seen on Rashida Jones, Emma Stone and Leighton Meester). But I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to get my cat eyes as perfect as Felicity Jones'.

Here are this week's most inspirational beauty looks:

Jessica Chastain

What I like: Jessica's chic straight lob. I'm still liking this shorter length on her! The shine and colour are so incredibly vibrant. She always looks good in berry-ish lipsticks, and I'm glad to see her keeping her brows soft and feathery. Instead of false lashes, she chose sheer purple shadow, and tightlined the upper lashes for extra definition. What I'd change: Nothing.

Rashida Jones

What I like: Rashida's muted fuchsia lips. This is the lip texture I love right now, with no hard edges or heaviness. Her lashes are nice and fluffy, and I always like seeing her freckles and fresh skin texture. The bob haircut is really adorable. What I'd change: Nothing.

Felicity Jones

What I love: Felicity's amazing (like seriously amazing) cat eyes. This isn't the first time I've been mesmerized by them—remember these? Besides the flawless execution, I adore the contrast of the stylized eye makeup with bare-looking skin and nudey-pinky lips. Her face-framing bangs complete the look. What I'd change: Nothing.

Emma Stone

What I love: Emma's matching pinky lips and cheeks. This is yet another example of the texture to go for—it's like the colour is coming from within. Her skin is ridiculously perfect, and despite the minimal eye makeup, her greenish-blue eyes pop like crazy. What I'd change: Nothing.

Hailee Steinfeld

What I like: Hailee's dramatic oxblood lips and winged-out black liner. It's a lot of makeup, but she manages to pull it off without looking overdone. I think her luminous skin really helps (her skin has improved so much!), while her natural brows keep things from looking too calculated. Also note the girly bow and tidy updo. What I'd change: The brow pencil through the tails is obvious and probably not necessary.

Leighton Meester

What I like: Leighton's brown smoky eyes. This is such a cool look—sheer tones all the way around the eyes, with chunky upper lashes and dark brown waterlines. I also love her fresh skin, and the slightly iridescent lip balm. What I'd change: I think her hair's in a ponytail, but it doesn't look quite polished enough from the front. She could also soften her brow arches and fill in the tails.

Camilla Belle

What I like: Camilla's lavender eyeshadow. I've never seen the shade look this good! It's super-pretty with the pink blush and lip gloss. On a blonde, this might've been too matchy and sweet, but her striking colouring and thick brows elevate the colour palette. What I'd change: Maybe straight hair would be better? I don't really love piecey curling iron waves.

Lily Collins

What I like: Lily's textured lob and highlights. This is the style I was hoping she would return to after her short hair phase. I detect some greenish eyeshadow, but otherwise, this makeup is super-subtle and neutral. Big brows and lashes are quickly becoming her signature look. What I'd change: Nothing.

Ashley Benson

What I like: The metallic gold liner underneath Ashley's lower lashes. This is such a fun and easy way to define the eyes without using dark, heavy colours. I love that she is leaving her brows un-tweezed, and the lashes look pretty good, too. Flippy, beachy hair definitely suits her. What I'd change: I don't like this foundation. Perhaps powder would help, but it has that slippery, siliconey look.

Elizabeth Banks

What I like: Elizabeth's pretty makeup and updo. Some people look so great with their hair off their face, and she's one of them. In the past, she has been known to overdo it with contour, but there's no evidence of that here. Even her lashes are understated. What I'd change: Nothing.

Emmanuelle Chriqui

What I like: Emmanuelle's slicked-back hair and Cleopatra eyes. Normally, I don't love wet-look hair, but she has the perfect bone structure for it. Even with the heavy kohl eyeliner, she looks cute, not aggressively sexy. What I'd change: Nothing.

Emmanuelle is wearing:Foundation // Eyeliner in Basic Black // Lip gloss
